If you’re a Queensland homeowner, you could be eligible for a battery rebate to help your household offset the cost of purchasing and installing a home battery storage system.
Introducing the Battery Booster Rebate Scheme
A collaboration between the Queensland and Federal Government, the Queensland Battery Booster Rebate Scheme is a solar battery rebate initiative which aims to increase the use of renewables, lower energy costs and assist Queensland households with the rising cost of living. Eligible Queensland homeowners can access a grant of up to $4,000 per household to buy and install an approved home solar battery system for use with a new or an existing rooftop solar system. Commencing in February 2024, the Queensland Battery Booster Rebate Scheme is now open for applications.
